Potty About Pottery Story
My name is Caroline. I’m a ceramics artist running my small business from my home in Lancashire.
I buy in high quality Bisque (Unglazed undecorated pottery) paint and glaze them myself and fire in my own little kiln. Every one of my creations are hand painted and totally original there are no two designs the same.
Quite often a friend or customer will give me a starting point for a new design which I will draw out first then paint. Then it becomes something I can recreate for others. Please get in touch if you have a colour, pattern in mind, or variation of another piece in my shop that you would like me to paint. As I am a one woman band designing, painting, firing, packaging and posting please allow up to 2 weeks for your item to arrive. Once your order is in I will be in touch to give you an estimated production and delivery time.
I love all things arty and crafty and I especially love painting pots and seeing the final results when the colours pop.
I started my business during the first lockdown and just loved it.
